Transactional emails include order confirmations, service updates, warranty information, and account-related notices. Promotional emails include special offers, seasonal tips, blog content, and company news. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Transactional emails are necessary for service delivery and cannot be fully unsubscribed.

7. Data Security. Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms. By accessing or using the Care Home Collective website, services, or any related platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Care Home Collective. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description. Care Home Collective provides residential home improvement and maintenance services including but not limited to interior design, exterior design, home decor, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, fire and safety installations, solar panel installations, home warranty plans, roofing installations, gutter installation, and home security systems. Services are provided in all 50 US states, subject to local licensing and availability. Specific service terms, timelines, and deliverables will be outlined in individual project agreements.

3. Quotes and Pricing. All quotes provided by Care Home Collective are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on information available at the time and may be adjusted if project scope changes, unforeseen conditions are discovered (such as hidden water damage, structural issues, or code violations), or material prices fluctuate significantly. We will communicate any price changes and obtain your written approval before proceeding with additional work.

4. Payment Terms. A deposit of 25%–50% is required upon signing a project agreement, depending on the total project value. Progress payments are due at specified milestones as outlined in your project agreement. Final payment is due upon substantial completion and your satisfaction confirmation. Accepted payment methods include credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), ACH bank transfers, personal checks, and financing through our lending partners. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge.

5. Cancellation Policy. You may cancel a project agreement within 72 hours of signing without penalty for a full refund of any deposits paid. After 72 hours, cancellation fees apply based on the stage of the project: 10% of total contract value if cancellation occurs before work begins; actual costs of materials ordered plus 15% administrative fee if work has commenced. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to your project manager. Care Home Collective reserves the right to terminate an agreement for client breach, non-payment, or unsafe conditions.

6. Project Timelines. Estimated project timelines provided are our good-faith estimates based on typical project conditions. Actual completion dates may vary due to factors including but not limited to weather conditions, material availability, permit processing times, change orders, unforeseen site conditions, and client decision timelines. We will communicate timeline changes promptly. Our on-time guarantee provides a 10% credit if we fail to meet the agreed deadline due to reasons within our control.

7. Permits and Compliance. Care Home Collective is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits for work performed, and permit costs are included in your quote unless otherwise specified. All work is performed in compliance with applicable International Building Code (IBC), National Electrical Code (NEC), and local municipality codes. If your property does not meet current code requirements discovered during the project, bringing items to code will be quoted separately and require your approval.

8. Warranty and Guarantees. Care Home Collective provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on all installation and remodeling services, covering defects in labor and installation. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products vary by supplier and are passed through to the client. Home warranty plans have separate terms and conditions as outlined in the warranty agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, natural disasters, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims must be reported within 30 days of discovering the issue.

9. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Care Home Collective's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, emotional distress, or loss of profits. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is made.

10. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Care Home Collective, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your negligence or willful misconduct, any misrepresentation you make, or any violation of applicable laws or regulations related to your property or actions.

11. Property Access and Preparation. You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area, removing personal belongings and furnishings from areas where work will be performed (unless arrangements are made otherwise), ensuring pets are secured away from work areas, notifying us of any known hazardous conditions (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.), and maintaining adequate insurance coverage on your property. Failure to properly prepare the work area may result in timeline delays and additional charges.

12. Change Orders. Any changes to the original project scope, materials, design, or specifications must be documented through a formal Change Order signed by both parties. Change Orders will include a description of the change, cost impact (if any), and timeline impact (if any). Work on Change Orders will not begin until approved. Verbal agreements for changes are not binding and will not be honored without a signed Change Order.

13. Intellectual Property. All designs, plans, renderings, specifications, and other creative materials produced by Care Home Collective remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full payment, a limited, non-exclusive license is granted to you for personal use of the delivered materials. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our designs for commercial purposes without written consent. Our website content, logos, trademarks, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws.

14. Insurance Requirements. Care Home Collective maintains comprehensive general liability insurance ($2 million per occurrence), workers' compensation insurance as required by state law, and commercial auto insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request. We require all subcontractors to maintain equivalent coverage. You should maintain homeowners insurance that covers renovation activities. We recommend notifying your insurance carrier before major projects begin.

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in USA. Each party shall bear its own costs for arbitration, except that the arbitrator may award costs to the prevailing party. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against Care Home Collective.
